The sensory evaluation was performed with 42 consumers aged
between 20 and 40 years old. A hedonic scale, with extremes
ranging from 1 (extremely disliked) to 9 (like extremely), was used
in the sensory evaluation of fruit coated with the edible material.
Firstly, the following attributes were assessed: overall appearance,
color, brightness, aroma,
flavor and texture. A hedonic ladder
structured with extremes ranging from 1 (definitely not buy) to 5
(certainly buy) was used to evaluate the purchase intent
