The Judiciary
•Laws are dead letters without courts to expound and define their true meaning and operation.
•The judiciary is the guardian of the rights of the people. The fusion of power can make executive and legislature tyrannical. Hence, the courts must protect individual against the tyranny of the state, poor against the rich and weak against the strong.
•The judicial branch decides and safeguards the rights of the people, punish criminals, protects the honest and the innocent, and, thus, secures justice for society.
