This large temple is more than a hundred years old and is open to visitors from 07:00 until 17:00. The temple features a large number of important Buddhist statues such as Poh Than Jao Wat, which can be found in the west hall and is believed to have the power to grant wishes. One of the main highlights here is the Grand Pagoda, which is decorated will murals that depict the life of Lord Buddha. The Grand Pagoda is officially known as Phramahathatchedi-Jomthaibarameepragat and is believed to contain one of Lord Buddha’s bone splinters. Another interesting feature is the exhibition room, which is home to a number of human-sized wax figure’s as well as artifacts such as the magical walking stick of Luang Poh Cham.
