11. Research Methodology
This study uses qualitative research combine with quantitative research, in-depth questions in interview and simply questions in questionnaire. The researchers selected both because first interview can ask in-depth attitude of students and specific reason then the researchers also use quantitative research because this type of research can collect data faster since the researchers cannot interview all of the students and can transform to statistical descriptive analysis (Wyse,2011).
11.1 Participants Recruitment
Participants enrolled the EG4083 Literature and Criticism through Movie course during semester 2/2015 will be recruited by volunteering people in the class. Yanarom (2014) explained that his research’s method was to take their students into the foreign movie activity.
11.2 Data Collection and Analysis
Data will be garnered during weeks nine and ten, and they will calculate into statistical analysis system. The researchers will statistically analyze all data by using means (M), standard deviation (SD), number (N) through SPSS program and interpreted according to descriptive ratings below (Tananuraksakul, 2013).
5-point Scale Descriptive Rating
4.20 – 5.00 strongly agree
3.40 – 4.19 agree
2.60 – 3.39 neutral
1.80 – 2.59 disagree
1.00 – 1.79 strongly disagree
