If no, has an alternate Crisis Manager been appointed? This will in the first instance be the delegated leader of the business in Australia, Thailand.
Has the CHEP Crisis Management Team been convened?
Has the Brambles Crisis Manager been notified?
Does the crisis involve a discrete geographic area that may benefit from the targeted attention or support of a Rapid Deployment team?
Is there a need to immediately address the support of staff or family members in the immediate coping with the incident?
Have person/s been injured?
If yes, refer to the CHEPSafe process – Appendix 4
Does the Crisis relate to a potential exposure or contamination to a customer’s supply chain?
If yes, refer to HACCP: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point - Appendix 3
Does the nature of the risk involve possible criminal action?
Has the Police or Crime Investigation Bureau been notified?
Have we established the full extent and cause of the incident?
Has damage been contained?
If not and event is ongoing, have steps been taken to contain impacts.
Has a review been undertaken to avoid a recurrence of the event?
Have steps been taken to ensure recommendations are adopted?
Have steps been taken to quantify the loss in financial terms, including any potential for further loss of revenue or sales?
Has there been any media attention?
If yes, Immediately involve communications team.
Has legal counsel been briefed?
Has public relations counsel been briefed?
