Bang Pakong Combined Cycle (Unit l-2 Replacement) Project Technical Document The maximum lateral deviation from the correct location at cutoff elevation up to 5 .0 cm will be permitted. The misalignment along vertical axis of piles shall not exceed 1.5 mm per 100 mm of pile length. Appropriate flexibility shall be provided for pipe work which passes through the interface between rigid foundation structures and surrounding material that may be susceptible to settlement. Hexagonal pile shall not be allowed to be used for this project. 2A.8 Roads and Drainage System The Contractor shall design the horizontal and vertical alignments of all roads and walkways to meet the requirements of future vehicular traffic and the relevant Local Authority. The Contractor shall also take into account the requirement of delivery, operation and maintenance of station equipment in determining minimum geometric design. The modification of existing facilities, if any, shall not affect the existing plant operation. Internal Roads and Parking Areas The intemal roads shall link and provide access to all units, buildings, and parking areas within the Site. For Area l, the elevation of centerline of the internal roads is +2.70 m MSL. For Area 2, the elevation of centerline of the internal roads is approximately +2.50 m MSL. Roads shall consist of a primary and secondary road system. Typical road and drainage system are shown in DWG. No. BPRP1-C-007. The maximum slope gradient for the road shall be less than 10 percent. Type of internal roads shall be as follows: I Type I: Reinforced concrete pavement Two (2) lanes of 3.50 m wide for each lane and crowned surface slope of 2.0 percent Shoulder width of 1.0 meter and the surface slope of 2.5 percent Minimum turning radius of not less than 12.5 m. The main plant access roads and a portion of the main plant complex circumferential road shall be Type I road. 0 Type II: Reinforced concrete pavement Two (2) lanes of 3.0 meter wide for each lane and crowned surface slope of 2.0 percents. Minimum turning radius of not less than 12.5 m. Plant areas requiring frequent access shall be served by Type II road. I Type III: Reinforced concrete pavement One (1) lane of 4.0 meter wide and crowned surface slope of 2.0 percent Unless otherwise required size of vehicle using the road, access road to the buildings, structures, and facilities shall be of Type III road.
