production in the study may be interfered by wound-induced
ethylene and autocatalysis (Gouble et al., 1995; Kadner and Druege,
2004). These results therefore need to be interpreted with caution.
Collectively, the evidence provided here confirms that NO may
induce delaying senescence of cut rose, in part, through decreasing
ACO activity and ethylene levels.
