Contrary to our results, isoptera were very important in the diets of Black-nest and Mossy- nest Swiftlets in Sarawak (Harrisson 1974), and white-nest Swiftlets in Penang took many more
ephemeropteera and homoptera than they did in our study (I anghmi 1'180) These results may have been artefacts due to the timing of the studies coinciding with swarming episodes.
