“Money can’t buy everything”… or can it? This phrase was created to allow a poor man to find hope in the intangible things he has (happiness, friendship, love, etc.) When everything is gone people seek “hope”, one finds this in love, faith, and happiness. With low standards of living and stressors of basic needs, “money can’t buy everything”, is a shining light to many people’s unfortunate tragedies. How does one up their standards of living? How do you get health care? How do you transport yourself to work everyday? How do you feed your children? How do you get Christmas presents? The answer is money. Money brings the bad and the good; when used correctly it can saves lives and altogether bring happiness. Society needs to redirect lavish expenditures towards prolonging lives with better environments, food, clothes, health care, and protection.
