Dr. Kimberly Howard is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Marymount Manhattan College and a research affiliate of the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) at Columbia University. Dr. Howard earned both her PhD and MA in developmental psychology from the University of Notre Dame and her BA in psychology and sociology at Bethel College, Indiana. Her research focuses on three main areas: the role of father involvement in child and adolescent development and well-being, the relationship between family and environmental risk and parenting, and the development of attachment relationships among parents and children.
