The sample consisted of purposively selected 30 sixth grade students of
Sakolwittaya School, Sampran district, Nakhon Pathom province during the academic year
2014. The instruments used for this experiment were 1) 8 lessons of CALL focusing on ethical
folktales. 2) English reading achievement test, moral awareness achievement test. 3) A
questionnaire asking the subjects' opinions on the CALL were used for data collection. The
paired-sample t-test was used for data analysis in order to assesses the students' English
reading abilities and moral awareness before and after using the CALL. In addition, the mean
and standard deviation of questionnaire scores were used to evaluate the students' opinion
toward the constructed materials.
