Apparently talking to her got her to open up and allowed you to see another part of her. Awhile after walking you had arrived at a nearby park where she seemed to be enjoying the change of scenery and started to smile. Still being stubborn you kept looking away from her trying to remind yourself at how annoying she was when you first met her, but then for some reason started to realize all the good points she had to her. She liked to play videogames, so much so that she was even wearing a shirt from the game that you two had met on. She also wasn’t making you feel uncomfortable by forcing conversation on you in fact you felt it was easier to talk to her than most people you had met and even though she seemed like a pest online she was actually not as obsessive as you were expecting her to be. You found a nice place to sit with some shade and she eagerly walked over to sit next to you. For a moment things went back to being quiet between you the two of you.
“You seem to really like playing videogames don’t you?” you asked her.
“Yeah my parents don’t let me out that much because they want me to study most of the time, but during my free time I like to play because I don’t have to worry about anything while I am.”
“I wasn’t expecting such a deep answer, but you must be really good to win at tournaments, huh?”
“Well I thought I was, but then you came along and broke my perfect record.” She smiled towards you trying to get your attention, but you only turned your (e/c) eyes to her as you kept facing forward.
“Did you really only want to meet me because I was rude to you when I beat you?”
“At first I wanted to meet someone who didn’t treat me like some princess. I’m the eldest daughter and a lot of people follow me online just because I won a few tournaments and are always asking me to join their teams or give them advice.”
“So you wanted to meet someone who didn’t care about any of that, while making sure they liked the same things you do and were lucky enough to find me.” A satisfied smile lit up your face as you started thinking highly of yourself.
“Actually you’re the third person I found who fit all of that, but the only one who lived in the same city as me. The one lives too far from me and is almost forty while the other one is a girl, but I still talk to her. So you were my lucky third charm, heh.” Her words instantly broke away your fantasy and remembered why you found her troublesome.
“Now I see why you’re an expert with an ice weapon.” You growled as you turned away from her.
“Are you saying I’m cold or cool?” she looked at you excited for your response.
You finally turned to glare at her not sure what to say.
“You’re more troublesome than anything else, but I at the very least I think your fun to be around.” You told her with a long sigh.
“I thought you were going to say something mean, but do you really think I’m fun does that mean you like me?”
