developed viable roots as a possible effect of the exposure
of irradiated tissue to plant growth regulators (ANA BA)
present in the culture medium during the stage of in vitro
development. Moreover, there were also deformed leaves
(twisted or very thin leaves), very rosette-shaped shoots and
emerging shoots that suddenly dried up; 11 months after
planting the tubers established in vivo, a plant exposed to
a dose of 10 Gy began to develop an inflorescence, three
weeks after this another plant exposed at 15 Gy also initiated
an inflorescence development.
