Statistical machine translation systems have been
developed for years and became very successful in
practice. These systems rely on dictionaries and
phrase tables which require much efforts to generate
and their performance is still far behind the performance
of human expert translators. In this paper, we
propose a technique for machine translation that can
automate the process of generating dictionaries and
phrase tables. Our method is based on distributed
representations and it has the potential to be complementary
to the mainstream techniques that rely
mainly on the raw counts.
