5. CREDIT CARD RULE #1 – DON”T CHARGE ANYMORE THAN YOU CAN PAY OFF WHEN THE STATEMENT BECOMES DUE.
a. Finance charges on credit cards are expensive.
Don’t carry a balance on your cards.
6. CREDIT CARD RULE #2 – IF YOU CAN’T USE THEM RESPONSIBLY, CUT THEM UP.
a. Don’t get in bondage to your credit cards. If you have problems using them all the time, get rid of them and close the accounts.
7. Credit cards can be a very valuable and useful item if used correctly.
8. Try and discipline yourself to make your purchase with cash and use the credit card for emergencies only.
C. USE YOUR MONEY WISELY
There are a number of simple things you can do that will enable you to use your money more wisely.
1. Pay all bills on time to avoid any finance charges.
2. Pay an additional amount on the principle of your mortgage each month.
3. Review insurance policies frequently to see that you have the best coverage for your money.
4. Invest wisely. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes.
5. Take advantage of coupons and rebates.
6. Fill out, catalogue and use warranties.
7. Buy what you need, not what you want.

9. Avoid the temptations and pitfalls that are common to people and be a good steward over what God gives you.
