In late 2010 and early 2011, the SuperGreen project had a series of consultations
with industrial stakeholders and the project’s Advisory Committee with a view to
narrowing down the list of KPIs to a manageable set. A workshop session held in
Malmoe, Sweden in March, 2011,5 took place jointly with a panel discussion. That
panel consisted of project managers of various Swedish initiatives on Green
Corridors, representatives of the industry and was led by the SuperGreen project
coordinator. Another objective was to finalize the methodology for benchmarking.
Validation of the final filtering of KPIs with stakeholders was considered a very
important outcome of this workshop. The change of methodology (to focus on
individual transport chains and to analyze operations in corridors) was accepted
(with minor changes) by the audience and members of the panel. Those KPIs that
received the highest endorsement as the most relevant and important for corridor
