Payments:
When I reach my £40 how will I be paid this money?
There are two main ways in which you can receive your OnePoll payment, BACS or PayPal.
The BACS method requires you to provide us with both your sort code and account number so that we can transfer your £40 directly to your bank account. Please can you check your account details that you provide us with as any errors will of course mean the payment bounces adding a delay to you receiving your money.
The PayPal method requires you to provide us with the details of your pre-existing PayPal account - the email address that your account is linked to. Please be aware that this may be different to the email address that we have on record for you and so you need to check that the email you provide us with is the one linked to your PayPal account.
How long does payment take to come through?
Once authorised by our accounts team, the BACS payments normally depend on the bank you are with, as a general rule we normally advise panel members that this can take up to 28 days. If after 28days you have not received payment then please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve the issue.
For PayPal accounts this process is usually slightly quicker however, we also advise members to again allow 28days from the request before contacting us.
Can I be paid by cheque?
Yes, this is possible. If you would like to be paid by cheque then please send an email to members@onepoll.com stating the name and address of the person you would like the cheque made payable to.
On our website, when making the request you must choose the BACS method, however when asked to enter your bank account details please enter 12-34-56 for the sort code and 12345678 for the account number so that this is then obvious to the processor of the payment that you require payment by cheque.
You must remember however, to email us as well to highlight the fact that you require a cheque as otherwise your request will be sent to our accounts team as a normal BACS payment and then of course bounced back adding a time delay to your payment.

My contact details have changed, what do I do?
If you have changed your email address or any of the contact information you have saved as part of your account then you can update this by accessing the section of the website (after logging in) entitled my details. It is important that you keep this information up to date as if there are any issues with your account, particularly regarding payment, then we will use these details to contact you.
