The first seven forms of consciousness lead up to the eighth form, which is the one that ultimately creates the world.
The “transformation” of our consciousness in the eight forms listed above produces the world; the world only appears to be substantial because of our consciousness.
The world itself is actually empty, but our consciousness, but our consciousness makes it seem otherwise (that is, real).
In fact, our consciousness is always changing, as our thoughts arise and disappear again, so too reality is always changing too (called the “conscoiusness flow”).
