Within each age group, non-Hispanic black women
had the highest prevalence of both BMI 35.0±39.9
and BMI ^ 40.0. For non-Hispanic black women
aged 40±49 y, the estimated prevalence of BMI
35.0±39.9 was 12.5% and of BMI ^ 40.0 was
11.1%, the highest values for any age-gender-raceethnic
group.
