The most
prominent feature of the gastric mill is the single medial tooth This
tooth protrudes into the cardiac foregut from the stomach's dorsal
wall, and is supported by the urocardiac ossicle which is connected to
the mesocardiac ossicle anteriorly
Lateral teeth, one each side of the medial tooth, are supported by zygocardiac ossicles, which are jointed
to each end of the mesocardiac ossicle via the pterocardiac ossicles
