Careers advisor : Good morning, you must be David.
David : That’s right. I am graduating soon and want to start looking for a job.
Careers advisor : Let me start by asking you a few questions. First, are you looking for an office job?
David : Yes, I am. I hope l can find a start-up company to work for.
Careers advisor : Why do you want to work for a start-up? Don’t you think a more established company would be safer?
David : It might be safer, but start-ups are more dynamic. They will give me
the opportunity to do more.
Careers advisor : I see. You’re right. Established companies ideally want candidates
with more experience. Start-up companies are more flexible.
David : That is important to me. I don’t like to work fixed hours.
Careers advisor : Are you interested in a job with a lot of responsibilities?
David : Yes’ I want a lot of responsibilities. I want to prove that young people
can work hard.
Careers advisor : Then you should send you C.V. and qualifications to a headhunter.
David : Great’ thank you for your help.
