Guests and new acquaintances
We had the pleasure of being together with some great people on this trip:
Paul Yadao joined our team in Buriram and Bangkok. As mentioned earlier, his teaching was important in giving us a clear focus on the Father’s love and our identity. He was very positive and supportive and wanted to learn from what we were doing.
Pastor Kamphong from Surin participated in A1 in Buriram for the first time. He leads a large church and is a central leader in the province of Surin. He seemed a bit reluctant at first, wanting to find out who we were and what we were doing, but he warmed up quickly and we established a good relationship with him and his wife. He invited us to visit his church, and Tik and I participated at a meeting there on Friday evening after A1.
Pastor Kang Seng from Living Streams Church in Bangkok received our team in a very generous way. I was only there for part of the meeting, but felt that this gave us a bigger picture of what God is doing in Thailand and helped us to see what role TCN and A1 can play here.
Dr Kamphone from Laos and Jack, his assistant joined us for part of A1 in Phnom Penh and the Leadership Summit afterwards. Together with Pastor Heng Sheng, one of the senior leaders of the church in Cambodia, they provided an international context and legitimacy for the work we are doing in Asia. They were also very positive and supportive of the work we are doing there.
