Supervising the loading of the aircraft in accordance with the loading Instruction Report (LIR).
- Ensure aircraft service procedure is performing in accordance with Aircraft service Arrangement (ASA).
- Ensure lashing/load spreading is correct.
- Check condition of Dangerous Goods (DG) and other special load stowed and segregated correctly.
- Coordinate with Passenger Services Agent and report to supervisor if some irregularity which related/effect to aircraft weight & balance.
- Ensure GSE used at the aircraft is suitable for the purpose, is correctly maintained and in the safe condition so as not to cause damage to the aircraft or persons in the vicinity of the aircraft.
- Report suspected differences in the through load the load control Supervisor for action.
- Check visually all compartments for possible remaining load and/or ballast (Originating stations only).
- Before loading, check the correspondence between the actual weights of cargo and mail against the estimated weights on the loading instruction. Also check the physical condition of the load (damage, leakage etc.).
- Record the number of baggage pieces and the actual weight of cargo, mail and equipment in bulk compartments on the loading report.
- Sign the loading report and deliver the signed loading report to the load control supervisor.
- Before the compartment doors are closed, check that all separation and door nets are correctly installed.
