Large numbers of Thai and foreign tourists arrived on Koh Phangan in Surat Thani for the full moon party last night, leading organisers to declare confidence had been restored in the wake of the arrests in the tourist murders on nearby Koh Tao.
Tourists crowded into Laem Thuat and Don Sak ports, where ferries leave for Koh Phangan, on Wednesday, heading for the celebrated full moon party on Haad Rin beach.
The influx comes in the wake of the arrest of two Myanmar men now charged with the murder of two British tourists on Koh Tao island on Sept 15.
