URA adapts a comprehensive framework to engage our staff (see Figure 4.2.1 for the URA Staff Involvement Framework).
We adopt the following strategies to encourage staff involvement and commitment in teamwork, innovation and the achievement of URAS business objectives:
a. Sharing URAS mission and values, the key corporate directions and targets to be achieved;
b. Building pride by having the management and key stakeholders recognize staff’s achievements ;and
c. Providing a conducive environment for staff to suggest and implement ideas.
The various staff involvement activities outlined in Figure 4.2.2 provide different avenues for staff development.
