2.2 Tourism safety factors in strategic
planning
Strategic planning is a body of methods of
organizational development strategies. During the
process of planning main organizational aims are
transformed towards concrete directions of work,
which are confirmed by corresponding qualitative or
quantitative characteristics. Resources are divided in
a way that they allow the organization to be able to
choose the concrete strategy and to concentrate in
one direction where organization’s development is
heading. In this case it is securing safety of tourism
product and service [7].
Quality is a body of product or service features
and properties enveloping the ability to satisfy
concrete or hidden needs. Quality of product or
service, customer satisfaction and profitability of
enterprise are mutually bound factors. Higher quality
indicators create higher satisfaction of customers
simultaneously creating a basis for higher prices
and, very often at lower expenses [8].
Man’s physical and psychological safety,
environment, quality of dwelling during the period
of travel is related to dominating conception
regarding travel destination. Quality of environment
and sustainable use of nature resources is directly
tied with safety and health of inhabitants. Ecological
and epidemiological danger, nature or man caused
catastrophes can create extraordinaire situation
where as a result tourism enterprises are subjects of
risk as well as country economy is badly impacted
and welfare of inhabitants is hindered. Country
inhabitants’ conceptions about value system, as well
as man behaviour are factors influencing the
wellbeing of traveler during the trip. External
environment circumstances define man’s
psychological and physical comfort, therefore
suppliers of tourism product and service must be
ready to secure physical and psychological comfort
of tourist.
It is comprehensive information which could
secure safety of clientele and provide information
about possible dangers during the period of travel. It
must also reflect country’s values and priorities
being related to safety of tourists and conceptions
regarding goods offered by its tourism product and
service companies.

communication process in the company so that
employee can obtain necessary knowledge and skills
