Using the BICS requires the estimation of the reference current IREF which is the IDDQ current value of the fault-free
integrated circuit under test. Then, while testing the circuit, if the IDDQ current of the circuit under test is equal or less than
IREF, it is supposed that the circuit is fault-free, otherwise, the increase in current beyond this value means that there is a
failure in the circuit [2-10].
