For the samples extracted with 75% and 100% of ethanol, as well as Soxhlet,was not possible to calculate the EC50 values. The sample dilutions used to construct the DPPH scavenging curve did not reach the reliable region to calculate such values using the method based on the principle of right triangle, as described by Alexanderet al. (1999).
Among the samples extracted with pure supercritical CO2, the best antioxidant activitywas found in that one obtained at 250 bar and 50 C, still three times lower compared to extracts with ethanol.
