Thailand to Try Yingluck Over Rice Plan
James hookway‘s reported in the wall street journal in which he wrote about the supreme court accepts the case of the former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra after state prosecutors charged her with neglect function in February.
Her rice mortgage scheme policy is the government will give a double price of money to a farmers and brought a rice out of warehouse and sold with upper market price, but Vietnam and India can take a low price than Thailand then it make too much rice remain in the government warehouse.
Former Prime Minister did not go to the court and said that this case is quite political. Moreover, she posted on her facebook page, she wanted to make better life to the farmers and especially she was elected because of this policy. She stated this is first case.If the Supreme Court convicts, she would be in jail for 10 years.
The bombarding at the criminal court causes the police charge 4 individuals yet only one is charged by soldier. Prayut said the military law stayed fundamental to control the circumstance. Also, the General Assembly will consider the extraordinary law that gives more power to the legislature.

I think the former prime minister would have lost the case. Because now the Thailand without neutral and now Thailand don’t have democracy. As well as The ruling was controlled by themilitary junta. So I think how the country is a democracy there should be a new constitution that the public agrees with the current prime minister should resign.
