The peak sat 1.1 ppm and 3.8 ppm were ascribed respectively to the methyl Fig and methine protons of the isopropyl group of p(NIPAAm). Thepeaks at 1.5 ppm and 1.9 ppm were assigned to the methylene and methine protons of the polymer backbone of p(NIPAAm) indicating the successful polymerization of the monomer.
