Neck pain may be the first step towards a
migraine attack because 50% of our patients
reported an attack within the day following the
stress test. This is in concordance with Kaniecki (22).
Another important observation is that migraineurs
developed more pain (headache) in the temporalis
area than healthy subjects, but not in the frontal
region. This pattern differs from the most usual frontotemporal
location of initial headache during the
migraine attack
