on't live in the city of Brussels, but in Brussels Airport City (so let me know if you'd ever travel to Belgium and you want a welcoming committee at the airport, I can fix that!)
- The other information is correct: my name is indeed Kevin and I'm 22
- Future history and Dutch teacher
- Shitty guitar player. I love to turn the amp up in my room, add some reverb and an endless delay and then slowly play E minor and C for about 10 minutes.
- Self-proclaimed photographer (but definitely not an artist)
- Usually calm (even when I'm nervous) and friendly/pollite
- Except: when I'm driving. Then I tend to curse a lot. Self-knowledge is the beginning of wisdom, so I mostly take the train or bus.
- Dangerously lazy and irresponsible procrastinator
- Rather open-minded and tolerant
- A better listener, than a talker
- Favorite student job so far: working at the child care. Last time (april 2015) my boss told me I get along very well with kids and that I'm a very caring person. Who would've thought.
- My mother's Portuguese, so Portugal is pretty much the only country I've ever been to (I visit Portugal every year, and even then it's always the Leiria or Algarve region).
- Coffee (preferably espresso), tea, rum (or any drink with rum), beer and cola are my favorite drinks
- I don't drink alcohol too often. I'm a really bad drinker, which is one of the things that my friends tend to like about me.
- I have a terrible memory, so please forgive me for forgetting things
- I have the ability to vanish suddenly, which leads people to ask me a month later when I reappear "oh, you're still alive?!"
- I do not have a particular opinion on South Korea or Japan. Sorry.
- When I was 18 (or was I 19?), I got a tattoo of a peace symbol (☮). The reason for having done that was that I heard some people say that many young people are idealistic ("they think with their hearts"), but it changes when they get older and "they start thinking with their mind". So I put that symbol on my right shoulder, sort of as a "reminder". I don't regret that tattoo at all, but 'to remind someone of something' might be a rather silly reason to get a tattoo.
- I don't enjoy going to parties that much. Can't help it, but I always feel awkward. Maybe it's because I can't dance at all. And I definitely don't like to go to parties where young teenagers around 16 year old are, it makes me feel old.
- Some people would say I appear to be serious pretty often. Ha-ha. I would disagree with them, it's just an appearance, apparently.
- "You're way too kind sir", someone told me yesterday.
- Some people around me have told me I can be quite sarcastic sometimes
- Some people around me have noted that I can be a little bit cynical from time to time, which they find unpleasant
- There are some moments or periods I can be a je-m'en-foutist
- I don't like talking on the phone
- People have often described me as a diplomatic person, probably because I try to nuance and relativize things a lot.
- In the last ten years, I've only worn a pyjama for one night. Update: two nights.
- It's not that I don't like cities (on the contrary), but I tend to like more natural and less crowded environments more often than I used to
- Not a big fan of ukeleles
- There's nothing like thunderstorms in the middle of the night
- I don't have organizational skills at all, but I've been using an agenda since a week, and I think it's helping. Update: never mind.
- I really, really hate mayonaise
- Dark chocolate and chocolate with hazelnuts (unless they're crushed) are my favorite
- The presence of armed soldiers in Brussels does not make me feel safer at all, on the contrary, I nearly shit myself today
- I don't know what's going on, but lately I've been attending all classes, even when I'm sick, and I'm even liking the courses
- My alarm clock's set at 5.15 am from monday to thursday. Sehr toll!
- I'm going to work a few days as a private driver for artists and vip guests at a classical musical festival this month, so I can pay the repair of the front bumper of my own car which I stupidly broke (I didn't tell my employer that's the reason, because they'd obviously think I'm a clumsy driver) Update: I just worked my first night and it was fun. I mean, uhm, what the ****.
