The percentage conversion of triglycerides to corresponding methyl esters by using Eq (2) was found to be 88.49% which is quite in good agreement with the practically observed yield of 83.3 +2.5% through Eq (1). The lower practical yield as compared to the calculated yield through 1H NMR study could be improved by giving more settling time to the product mixture or employing more efficient separation process like centrifugation, etc.
