This study aims to assess the association of bone mineral density
improvement in postmenopausal women in
lifestyle over a period of 1 to 2 years.
It was observed that around two thirds of women in the study were
at the age of less than 65 years. This is comparable to results reported
by Downey et al.22). A possible explanation for this might be that older
patients have co morbidities that lead to higher mortalities among them
as compared to younger patients23'. Also, they might not be able to come
to the clinic because of the complications of their chronic diseases.
