This project intend to create control circuit for DC Solar Pump. Buck Converter which is controlled by microcontroller dsPIC30f2010 is chosen because it can step down voltage but step up current.,It help in starting motor. Moreover the can operate while the low light and this circuit will track maximum power point of solar cell. The equipment is design circuit having input voltage less than 40 volts and input current less than 10 amperes and use a rated pump 250 Watts. From the experimental results concluded that the circuit can fine maximum power point tracking of solar cell throughout the day. Experimental operation of pumps connected directly with a solar panel does not work. But if continue through Buck Converter circuit a pump can work, by can pumping approximately 10,000 liters, can be pumping about 8 hours per day and the circuit efficiency 86 percent.
