Maize starch (containing 40% of amylose) was purchased
from Roquette Frères (Lestrem, France). The initial
moisture content was 9.4 wt%. Glycerol (Aldrich), ionic
liquid, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride BMIMCl
(Aldrich) and carbon dioxide (CO2) (Air Liquide) were used
without further purification.
