The hopper features a perimeter bar on its upper edge to prevent manual access to the feed screw by an operator situated on the same level as the floor where the machine is located and electrically interlocked with the transmission system, automatically stopping it when pressed.
One side of the machine features the mincing unit, consisting of a grooved body inside which the grinder screw rotates, whose function is to push the product towards the cutting unit, consisting of one or several sets of holeplates and blades, and extruding the meat through the holes of the plate where it is then cut by the blade.
Attached to the outside of the cutting unit is a hinged protector with electrical interlock, which automatically stops the machine when it is raised.
Optionally, the Automatic Grinder can feature an integrated Elevator-Loader mechanism that is hydraulically activated from the machine’s control panel and, using a tip up system, enables the automatic loading of the hopper by means of standard 200 l bins.
Also optionally, the Elevator-Loader mechanism can be column type, attached to the machine and with autonomous and independent operation. In this case, the Elevator-Loader must be anchored to the factory floor and joined laterally to the Grinder to provide it with greater stability. This column Elevator-Loader is considered to be a separate machine and must therefore have its own instruction manual.
The transmission system consists of an electric motor which, through a set of pulleys and V-belts, transmits rotary motion to the grinder screw and a gear motor that transmits rotary motion to the feed screw. All movement is controlled by an electrical panel which, by means of a control panel equipped with electric buttons, enables control of the starting and stopping of the machine and the speed of the feed screw.
The control panel, in addition to the indicated buttons, also features a rapid emergency stop switch. Similarly, the machine is equipped with a main switch that cuts its power supply.
