After complete decomposition, the refuse is in the form of compost mixed with the soil (added if any) which were added as frequent cover. Composition of this mixture makes it an enriched planting medium suitable for plant growth. Once the wastes degrades and settles in all the 8 pits, the content is transferred to make it in to four pits. The contents in these pits may be topped up with some fresh soil (if needed) to grow plants. Remaining four pits can be used for filling waste for the second cycle. To observe the growth pattern and its maintenance both agriculture plants and garden plants were selected based on their availability and growth conditions.
