In China , it is touching to see parents accompanying their children to take college entrance examinations.
And children try to do their very best not to let their parents down.
Most of the students taking the college entrance exams are only seventeen or eighteen years old ,
so parents might be excused for wanting to be with them
(Actually , eighteen is the age one can start one’s military service).
Among people I know , there are some who have accompanied their children to take the national postgraduate entrance exams or to look for a job , which I really think is too much !
