The experimental design was a randomized complete block with repeated measurements. Each analysis was replicated three times for chemical analyses (except rotisserie chicken which was replicated four times) and four times for HCA analysis. Duplicate measurements taken on the same experimental unit were averaged for statistical analysis. All statistical significance tests were analyzed using SAS version 9.1 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA, 2002). Data were examined by analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's multiple comparison test (Tukey, 1993), and means were considered significant at p < 0.05.
