large amount of precipitate of curcumin was observed which may be attributed to exceeding the maximum loading capacity of starch. All the samples were filtered through 0.8 mm syringe filter to remove possible curcumin crystal and aggregation. Size, PDI and zeta potential of soluble starch solution before and after the sonication treatment were measured (Table 1). After sonication treatment, size of the starch increased by about 50 nm.
