Visual Analogue Scale: VAS (Gross & Levenson, 1995; Wewers &
Lowe, 1990). This is a subjective and self-administered measure
with a 10 cm line where the intensity of the emotional state is
indicated. Four VAS were used to evaluate sadness, joy, anxiety, and
relaxation moods. Participants were asked to rate how strongly
they were experiencing each of the emotions evaluated at that
moment on a 0e10 point Likert scale (0 ¼ not feeling the emotion at
all, 10 ¼ feeling the emotion very strongly).
