This study was identified that the IFN- levels in LOM-
vaccinated pigs were lower at days post-challenge but the IFN-
induced to high levels. IFN- production in response to the C-
strain virus was first detected in vaccinated 9 days post-vaccina-
tion and was sustained over the period of observation (Graham
et al., 2010). The results suggest that the C-strain virus is a potent
inducer of a type–1 T cell response, which may play a role in the
protection afforded by such vaccines (Graham et al., 2010). The

milder form of the CSF disease (infected with Cat01 strain) were
