In this study, 398 students from 19 classes completed the information
literacy skills test during two semesters in 2014, of which 386
were freshmen and 12were sophomores. The average information literacy
score was 78.5 out of 100 points. The intended majors of participants
were across the board, with 16.3% in social sciences, 13.6% in
natural sciences, 10.3% in humanities, 23.6% in business, and 22.4% in
health sciences. 13.8% students reported “undecided” on their majors.
