The germination procedure for seeds was as follows:
four portions of 150 g of seeds were washed with 0.7%
sodium hypochlorite, soaked in 450 ml of distilled water
at room temperature for 6 h, and shaken every 30 min.
The water was then drained off, and the seeds were transferred
