A permanent employee may not request to take exceed six (6) days of business leave per calendar year with pay equal to the rate per hour of a normal working hour of a normal working day, subject to the discretion and approval of the supervisor, as follows:
1. Death of relative: death certificate in required no more than three (3) working days, for
the following persons:
parents
parents-in-law
spouse (exempt for wife and husband de-facto)
children
brother, sister
grandparents and grandparents –in-law
Any other relative living in the employee’s household who is classified as a
Dependent of the employee.
2. Jury Duty, hours will be paid with a copy of the court release is required
3. Inclement Weather, hours will be paid as outlined by policy of Natural Disaster/Inclement Weather.
4. Sickness in family, a doctor’s note in required for three (3) working days or more consecutive days.

5. Personal business requiring contact with the state agencies during normal hours (8.00-16.00 hrs.). The employee may take such leave in accordance with the number of hours spent for such business such as requesting a new citizen ID card or passport, renewing the car registration or driver's license, register a marriage or a child, etc.
An employee who requires taking business leave must submit in advance a written request which must be approved by company before the leave is taken.
Note: The paid business leave will not be including the balance of vacation and upon a reasonable reason.
