2.6. Economic value of the nutrients included in the obtained
composts
The economic value of the nutrients included in the composts
elaborated was calculated considering the price of diammonium
phosphate (DAP), standard size, bulk, spot, f.o.b. US Gulf; potassium
chloride (muriate of potash), standard grade, spot, f.o.b. Vancouver
and Urea; Black Sea, bulk, spot, f.o.b. Black Sea (primarily Yuzhnyy)
beginning July 1991; for 1985-91 (June) f.o.b. Eastern Europe, provided
by the World Bank. Based on these materials, the value of 100 kg of
each respective compound (N, P2O5 and K2O) was determined.
Then, the economic value of the nutrients present in the composts
was assigned, considering a content of 25% of fresh matter in all the
