In this experiment, zinc absorption was studied in duodenum by technique of in situ ligated intestinal loops in broilers. We detected the whole duodenal sac zinc concentration using AAS. The results showed that ZnMet and ZnLys group samples have agreater amount of zinc in the intestinal sac control ZnSO4 group. Organic zinc was more easily absorbed than in organic Zn. However, the chemical states of different zinc sources absorption through intestinal wall cannot be determined. Sui et al.(2011) reported that the states of organic zinc and in organic zinc were identical after being incubated for 40 min in vitro using thee verted intestinal sac technique in culture medium containing zinc from different sources. However, zinc XAFS spectra of sample for the whole dried intestinal sac. The states and content distribution of zinc absorption did not consider in the intestinal wall. There fore, scanning zinc absorption region and distribution using m-XRF mapping two-dimensional imaging to determine maximum specific area of zinc absorption. This may be mainly absorptive area of zinc in the duodenal wall. Zinc could be absorbed into blood in this specific region.
