The third menu option at Sirocco Restaurant Bangkok is the ultimate treat for a special occasion: the chef’s taster menu of seven courses for 4,500 baht, with an optional wine pairing of 2,500 baht. It allows the Chef de Cuisine, Gonzalo Ruiz, to really show his skill of using the finest seasonal ingredients from around the world, including seared Challans foie gras served with a walnut and chive crust, rhubarb and pomegranate, and Wagyu beef tenderloin with beetroot, glazed pearl potatoes and shimeji reduction.
To match the decadent Romanesque design scheme – complete with a fountain and manicured garden – there is strict dress code at Sirocco of no shorts, sandals, ripped clothes, athletic uniforms, sleeveless T-shirts for gentlemen, and no luggage or backpacks. A live jazz band takes to the stage every night at 19:30, adding soft background music to complement the ambiance. Reservations are advised, especially if you intend to dine on Friday or Saturday night.
