Many multinational corporations have significant foreign operations. Firms in the(U.S.)S&P 500 generate approximately 25% of their revenues through foreign operations. Of the ten largest U.S. companies listed on the NYSE, nearly one-half of revenues generated are from foreign operations. Twenty-four countries have companies large enough to be listed on the Business Week Global 1000.
